WHILE FILING ITR 2, I AM GETTING THE ERROR "Invalid XML. Please generate XML again using the latest utility.". BUT I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE LATEST UTILITY TODAY MORNING AND GENERATED XML. STILL THE ERROR IS COMING. THE ERROR IS COMING SINCE 7 DAYS. EVERY TIME I AM DOWNLOADING LATEST VERSION AND UPLOADING. BUT SAME ERROR COMING "Invalid XML. Try with Latest Java utility, not getting such problem.
We are directly uploading after validation, no need to save X M L file.
Agreed. The latest ITR2 utility is having the bug. Wait till department rectifies it.
I also got this error, when i called helpdesk of Incometax team, they suggested me to install Dotnetframework3.5, after installing i regerated the X M L from Excel and uploaded successfully.
