Intimation recieved u/s 143(1)

i have recieved an intimation from Tax department after filing my tax. There is a mismatch of Rs 2 between the tax payable (the Income tax dept amount is Rs 2 higher). My employer informed me that this is due to rounding off error. When i went to check the income tax page online (my aacount), it says that my return has been recieved, processed and there is no demand and no refund.

should i file a revision u/s 139(5) or is it not required? (my employer suggests me not to file a revision in this case)

Your employer is right
revised return is not need to file

Dear Varun, Any tax of less than 100 rupees is not demanded by income tax. So dont worry
