Quick Summary
A client declared rental income under 'income from other sources' in a belated return (Section 139(4)), but the tax department's assessment order included the full rental income. Following the client's failure to act on the intimation, a significant demand has been raised. The query seeks advice on the possibility and legal basis for appealing this demand, particularly concerning the incorrect head of income used.
