hi there!! even i am very much interested in the course. Please visit the site www.cfainstitute.org. I have also got the prospectus and the application form for the course. I got it from the CFA institute for free. Visit the site and apply for it..
I think the fees is around 700 to 800 dollars.. but i am not VERY sure..
Do write to me when you get any additional information.. Where do you stay?

u may go through the portal of the CFA US https://www.cfainstitute.org, wherein u'll find all the details relating to the course as desired by u including the addresses of the indian society of US CFA.
Moreover, u may visit https://www.analystforum.com for the purpose of getting interaction with US CFA students worldwide & all the related n updated info on CFA course.

hey friendz i m also interested in CFA(US based) but before takin any initiative i wud like to know if its permitted by our Chartered Accountants Act? coz our institute's expressly disallowed the CFA done from ICFAI hyderabad...so i wud just like to know whether its gonna affect my CA degree if i join US based CFA ...will i have to surrender my CoP or membership of CA?

Our institute restricts only indian CFA(ICFAI) and not US CFA. You can takeup US CFA without anydoubt.

It depends on time and money availability, If there is no contrant then i would suggest you to go for CFA.
