Interesting Question on ICAI......

if icai didnt kept that pattern .....  not to say hard workers but smart workers plans to write one subject for one attempt .........

Hi Charanteja, Thanks for your reply first of all..... But even now it is going in some of the situation where who is concentrating alone on one paper and getting exemption on that paper and attempt and going other one... then.....????

get a 60 and dont attempt that paper again..the logic is to be good enough in the all the subjects..otherwise this will become like a university ATKT examination...where u appear again for subjects u failed in..

student should have overall knowledge on all the subjects

if you clear subjects one-by-one, you will forget the subjects you cleared first

thats why ICAI has kept this rule

You can ask ICAI is giving exemptions in subjects

But exemption is limited to 2 subjects in a group

that too if you are claiming exemption in one group, you cant claim any other exemption in that group until that exemption is expired or group is cleared unless you got exemption in 2 subjects at a time

if there is exemption for one paper(compartment system) than what would be result % ?

See the logic goes this way when  ICAI is giving u exemption  by scoring 60 or above marks in any sub then on other wants to attempt all the papers in that grp bcoz thy pay to many people (though its nt huge againsttheir income) whn thy conduct 1 single attempt of CA exam. supervisors fee, printing both exm Q & A papers , paying fees to centres etc... its on national level .

So i think wat icai thinks tht after people apply for exm thy mak a buget of estimated exp for an attempt n want all of thm evn those who r gettin exemption in ny  1paper.

According to me it will not make sense

To me it is because you can gain indepth knowledge but by doing it all together.
