interest on housing loan
sir namaste one of my friend has taken housing loan in HDFC bank but the loan account has shown 3 parts 1 part for land, 2 part for house construction and 3 part for upgrade the intrest paid 85000, 40000 and 35000 respectively submitting above particulars to my employer he has deducted 85000 only as housing loan intrest now my friend is eligible to show the remaining 75000 directly while submitting ITR pl help in this issue

Is the house property under construction?
just completed occupied in jan 2018
Yes, Rs.40,000/- and one fifth of pre-construction interest paid, if any can be claimed.
For Upgrade part of loan.... clarification needed.
