The last date to file the return was 31.03.2009. Now its not possible to file a return for A.Y.2007-2008.

no. u cant. but if u r furnished a notice u/s 148 then u hv to furnish a return.
another thing u can do ....is disclose ur undisclosed income to ur a.o., pay taxes and inform the cit. that ways u can escape penatly if the deppt takes any action against u in future.
