When I am call income tax department helpline number the ivrs is asking for date of incorporation or dob. I have given it in the current format but still it is saying informations are incorret.Please help

in all correspondences with the IT department date format should be dd/mm/yyyy

I know mam...but when I am putting my DOB in call in the same format they are saying this is not correct. please try once mam you will understand.the helpline nmbr is 18001801961

i called them... i had a query and it was solved using the same format... please check the date of incorporation or dob you are quoting... may be you know the correct one but it is wrongly entered in their records...

my dob is 8th of august 1993 and i am submitting 08081993.But still saying information is incrrct

Use 08/08/1993 instead
