Industrial training

Industrial training is allowed only in the last year (3rd) of articleship. First 2 years you should work in a CA Firm.

can anyone please tell me what is the eligibility for the industrial training????

Dear Ashwin, to be eligible for industrial Training you have to fullfill two conditions:

1) clear your IPCC level

2)Do articleship in any CA firm for minimum 2 years, out of your 3 or 3 1/2 years of articleship

Then in the last year, as per your will , you can take transfer from your exising CA and then opt for Industrial Training for 1  or 1 1/2 complete year.

Can anybody guide me which one is better - going for an industrial training in 3rd yr or continuing our articleship in my CA firm.

@ G.Sireesha.........it differs from person to person, but from general point of view, you should not go for Industrial trainig,,,,,,,,,,,,because,,,our ultimate Aim is to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and that too crack Final in first attmpt....which makes a lot of differernce in your professional life,,,,because in final year of articleship you, can demand atleast six months of holidays from your Sir, to focus on final syllabus, which i think is sufficient for cracking final in first attmpt and that too both groups,,,but if you opt for industrial training, you will lose nothing but only the chances of not clearing your final exam in first attmpt increases,,,which gives a lot of pressure,,,,,,,,,,so from my point of view you clear final first......all the best

I have cleared Group1 of IPC and have completed two years of articleship can i go for industrial training?

Is both groups of IPC cleareance required for industrial training?
