Can anybody confirm, what is the liability of a individual(directors or accountants) in case of a ltd. concern for Sales Tax dues. Also what are the implications if the company is not in operations.

please detail your queery properly. The liability to the directors is applicable on case to case basis. Is it an public listed company? if not in operation nothing to worry, get the number cancelled or file NIL returns.

Thank u Kejriwalji for the response. Please note that the company is public ltd. but not listed. There are some dues pending as per the department. And the company is not in operation since last 1-2 years.
