hi all can some one tell me,whether VAT &  Service tax credit can be taken on purchase of CAR by a paint manufacturing company.

set off of input credit of car is available in hands of dealer of CAR only, for others its taken in negative list and input tax credit not allowed. 

VS Datey (taxmann) is a real book. actually whatever taxmann publishes is a book. Other things are ctr+c and ctr+v.
