I here assume that u r talking about closing stock.so in this case decrease in consumption of raw material leads to increase in stock.

Hai harbinder, I am talking about increase in finished goods stock and not closing stock of raw materials. I want to know the actual effect if there is an increase in finished goods stock, i.e whether increase in raw material consumption or decrease. please elaborate.
