I had a quarry

 request all the members to reply URGENTLY

Individual doing business

31.03.2007 was under audit

31.03.2008 was not under audit turnover rs. 32lakhs

31.03.2009 was under audit.

tds was deducted in the year 31.03.2008 and paid.

whether he is liable for deduction and payment of tds in 31.03.2009?

Yes you must deduct the TDS on safer side .............But as per the act it is not liable to dedcut the TDS but you can deduct on safer side.................

Girish jee,

There is no harm to keep deduction tds as you are already having this TDS No. you will be in safer side. I know it will be tedious for a individual to deduct TDS and follow all rules.
