Income Tax refund of representative assesse failed due bank account and pan mismatch

A return was filed as a representative assessee for a deceased person. The processed refund order was received; however, the refund failed due to an account number and PAN mismatch. The bank account given in the return was for the representative assessee, and it was correct and validated at the portal. However, the department is checking the deceased person's PAN with the representative's bank account. What is the solution to receive the refund in the legal heir's account?"

Think you would have to meet the AO or raise grievance 

Validate account. pan mismatch must be revoked.
