Income tax notice

Dear Sir,

An individual got a notice from Income tax department for not filing the IT returns, now he would like to file the IT returns but he misses the letter which he received from the IT department. He checked it in Income tax portal for any notice on his name, but he could n't find it.

Now to file the IT returns, Is there any option to find the Notice / acknowledgement number.
