I recived the notice from incometax dept on 11th oct 2013 it was generated on 17th sept 2013. it shows that my TDS as computed by 143 is lesser than what i've filed in return. there is diff of rs. 50K in TD, I cheked online 26A and there its showing me correct TDS. I checked my return and everything like employer TAN looked fine. when I checked my return status online on incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in it shows me status on 17th sept as demand is idetified. and status on 8th of oct 2013 was rectification processed no demand no refund. this status is just 3 days back when i received the 143(1) notice.
Do i need to reply to this notice? as my latest status for return is "rectification processed no demand no refund" ?
