Hello Frnzz.. I had a query regarding income tax filing. One of my friend had to file his ITR for the AY 2010-11, but in 2010-11 his total income was within the exempted limit bcoz, he had left the job after doing only 4 months and his TDS was deduted earlier. So within how many days of filing ITR, he can get refund.

well according to CBDT refund should be given in 3 Months after the due date or after the filing date but its in real take more than a year…
he/she should have to file return of a.y. 2010-11 before 31st march 2011..
if u file return of income before 31st march claiming TDS though you are under basic exemption limit you wil get benefit of it...
