Income tax deduction of fracture

You cannot claim a specific tax deduction for hand fracture medical expenses in your ITR because such an injury is not classified as a "specified disease" under Section 80DDB, and general medical expenses for non-senior citizens are not deductible under Section 80D. If you are a salaried employee, you receive the benefit of the Standard Deduction regardless of any medical costs incurred.
