income tax deducted but not being shown in 26AS

for FY 2008-2009 employer has deducted income tax from my salary & remitted to income tax Department also. but now income tax department has raised demand with intt for that.after. query from my employer it was found that they had noted my PAN number wrong .what should be done now for correction of 26AS....M S Verma
