Hello, Recently there is an issue happened that there was tax audit done for Pvt ltd. company for last fy year by a CA who have done all the paper works and even given us the documents But after 5 days ago only it came to know the the UDIN which was mentioned in the documents is Revoked and after contacting the CA he says go to some other CA and get it done. What shall can be done in this and what will be actions can be taken as the CA is even refusing to return the money for the same.

File a case against such CA at ICAI
Write a Formal Letter on Letterhead of Pvt Ltd Company duly signed by 2 directors to concerned Chartered Accountant, seeking explanation for such act (Revocation of UDIN).
Whether Proper procedures were followed for appointment of Auditor as per Companies Act and Income Tax Act?
Have you received Audit Report, duly signed by CA having UDIN?
Is fees paid in advance to CA as per terms in Appointment?
Before going to file a complaint with ICAI, just check whether there are any Irregularities in your Private Limited Company as per relevant provisions of Companies Act, Income Tax Act and any other Applicable Act?
Board of Directors will be having knowledge of proper status.
We cannot blame Auditor (CA) without knowing proper facts.

I have received the signed audit report from the CA as the return was submitted and he revoked the udin after 16 days and that also he never informed, he was not the regular ca first I have approached him for appointment for the company but his fees was too high for the same and there was some late fees also coming so he only suggested that he can do the tax audit like this and if in future I need I can appoint him. And for the time being as due date for income tax was there he did the TAX audit and I have paid for the same and he have provided me the signed copy. But when someone informed me that he have done wrong with him I just cross checked and found he mostly do this to make more money.

As per my understanding,
CA was appointed for Tax Audit under Income Tax Act for your Private Limited Company. CA Firm is not following procedures and guidelines which are mandatory. After issuing a Tax Audit Report and Submission of Tax Audit Report, CA Firm should not revoke the UDIN without having very serious reason and without communicating the same to client (Private Limited Company)

After consultation from other Legal Experts, file a complaint with ICAI. Forward the copy of such Complaint and fresh Complaint to Income Tax Department (through email, raise a grievance and physical letter to jurisdictional AO / CIT)
the reason mentioned there is incorrect data and it has been done 3 days ago early morning 5 am.
