hi all,

i am preparing for my ca finals which are due in may,2014.

i was very confused as which subjects should i do later(coaching) & which subjects have chance of major amendments.

i recently registered with satellite classes of gaap bright for advance auditing classes being taken by ca surbhi bansal, but one of my friend told me to do it later so i also wanna confirm that does audit have any chances of amendments??

plz reply guyz with any info u have...

hello Dear Nikhil,
You are going on the right track, now please don't take anyone's suggestion/advises on the ground of coachings and all as the time being left is very less, I guess u havn't started yet with your preparations.
if you give your time on listening to everyone regarding coaching then time will run and May'14 will be on head, strt it with what you are getting and end it soon.

My suggestion for you:
As you have already strted for auditing with surbhi mam, strt with SFM, LAW(if u want) and ISCA meanwhile.
and later on the december/november 2013 take coachings of DT and IDT .
and the Gap betweem the those two( i mean before DT n IDT complete Financial Reporting by any means- coaching or self).

Amendments are majorly in subjects like
Financial Reporting
Auditing n LAW(minor) which can be dealt easily if you have covered your sylabus before on time
DT, IDT.

that was very informative...

but you are saying that i should start with law now, but many teachers here are telling to do it later as it got some major amendments to go with (in co.s act probably), so if u r not gonna get it in a wrong way then would u please tell me that whats the basis of ur recommendation about law & yea i have done with sfm n costing, now at present doing fin. reporting in eten.

okay, i din't know that you are already done with sfm n costing and currently ongoing accounts.
fine, I belong to mumbai and here majority of the students do this way, so this was my base of recommendation.
Strting the theory subjects like audit law and isca. meanwhile joining classes for other subject like sfm costing n accounts. and in the last IDT n DT is the general trend that i saw( i am not commenting on who go for all subjects coaching under one roof).
