I HAVE BANGAR BOOK FOR IDT ,WHICH WAS FOR MAY 14 EXAMS.CAN I USE THIS BOOK FOR NOV 14 EXAMS.....IS THERE ANY CHANGES IN THE NEW BOOK FROM THE PREVIOUS EDITION.......CAN I USE OLD BOOK (MAY 14) OR I HAVE TO BUY NEW ONE...

new chapter has been added to idt.... you should purchase new book.
I have the new book... the only change made is regarding the chapter of foreign trade policy ... which has importance of 5 marks as far as I've heard.... and VAT has been removed ...
So it is upto you now if you want to purchase a new one
Some circular and notifications will be included in new book. So buy the book which is applicable.for Nov 14
Bangar May 14 is suffice. Supplement your reading with amendment and case laws book by ICAI
listen friend..MAY '14 is enough. For FTP chapter..download it from icai site. Stdy material. Max around 16 pages are there. And for some new notifications, circulars.. it wl come in nov rtp.
Now itself if u want to knw such new notifications ...download dis file which is prepared by gurukripa.
Hey...i have bangar for may 14 and it has already made adjustments for nov 14 too. A very clear note is there by author that for nov 14 leave vat and do the addl. Chapter of custome named foreign trade policy. This chapter is already incorporated in bangar edition for may 14.
The May 2014 edition of Bangar consists of the new chapter already. So Bangar along with the supplimentary reading material and case laws is enough, no need to buy a new edition of Bangar.
but in may'14 edition..some new notifications from jan to april wil not be there. So download the above file. Or u can wait til nov rtp. So no need to buy new book.

@ radha. .yr y new book required when al new notifications are in dat uploaded file and if smthng is stil missing then it wl come in next rtp. New idt bangar buk alrdy available . I have. But guys anybody have may'14 edition then dont waste ur money n time again.
