Hi,

I have 5 books for IDT, which are

Bangar, V.S. Datay, K. Vaitheeswaran (Snowwhite) , Ajay Jain and Deepak Gupta.

I have completed bangar twice and VS datey once few months back.

My attempt is in nov10 and i started revising IDT few days back. i went to buy latest edition of datey or Bangar (without deciding as i was confused about which one is better). there i saw this book K.vaitheeswaran of snowwhite publication and i bought it.

my problem is- This new book is very good, easy to read and understand, lucid language. and everything( i have already completed exise from this one)

but i am still confused

Datey- very good to understand what happens practically in IDT, but case laws are given in one lines and also very lengthy book and a bit confusing.

Bangar- very good case studies and practical examples, but at the same time confusing and language copied from bare act so hard to understand and retain some topics.

Ajay Jain and Deepak Gupta- one word- Pathetic. every thing given in few lines without any explaination.

K.Vaitheeswaran- good book, easy to understand and retain, decent number of case laws, not at all lengthy, but very few practical problems

But i am still confused which one to study for custom and service tax.

If someone has read from Vaitheeswaran, what do you think of it.

Thank you
