I opted self study for IDT.. I am comfortable with study material for understanding concept. But i feel illustrations are less in ICAI materail.. I want to solve more illustrations to have concept clarity..which book serves my purpose??

Book from Md Rafi has good explanation about theory. It also contains practical examples which are sufficient I think and also solved past questions papers for CMA. Overall, it is a good book but I dont know much about book from bangar. Heard it is also good but don't have much info. If u want to solve more practical problems, refer previous question papers, practice test papers etc. That would be very helpful I think.
Compiler from any good author serves my purpose then??
Since you say u want to solve practical problems, you can refer previous solved questions papers, practice test papers, revision test papers etc instead of going thru book from another author. Many authors include such questions in their book too.
