is sufficient if prepare with icai practice mannual.out of 50 marks portion atleast 15 to 20 marks will ask from case law, for case law refer institute selected case law book
Read Idt service tax in depth...50 marks ....so its core area of Idt.don't take any risk..use detail book.
Balanced allocation of preparation for all three parts - Excise, Service Tax, Customs and FTP is important. Every single marks gets counted in the end. So give adequate importance to all parts of the syllabus. My suggestion would be to study from comprehensive material of Bangar, make your own short notes for revision. You are bound to score high marks. Good luck.

Hi i am studying from study manual and it has comprehesive approach and making short notes bcoz of it i have solved every question and as in ipcc nov 2014 new material will definately come from practice manual dont leave single topic as it can ruin your chance of getting exemption

TAYAL SIR AND NOTES IS SUFFICE TO GET MORE THAT 80 MARKS IN IDT.
MANY STUDENTS GET 80 TO 90 IN ONLY IDT. HIWEVER I TOO GETTING 82 MARKS IN MAY 14 RESULT.
