we are demanding it for last twenty years, at that time also we had done our homework but of no avail then, this time Rt. Hon Minister has taken a bold and spirited decision ,knowing well it will be apposed by other Accounting Institute under his ministry, that itself is a solid reason to flood his mail with thanks .In the last 20 years other minister could also do it, but they have taken a partisan attitude towards us.
5. In section 5 of the principal Act,—
(a) in sub-section (2),—
(i) for the letters "AICWA", the letters "ACMA" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words "Institute of Cost and Works Accountants",the words
“Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India" shall be substituted;
(b) in sub-section (5),—
(i) for the letters "FICWA", the letters "FCMA" shall be substituted;
