Mr.   Keyoor    Bakshi    Elected     as     the    President    of

International   Federation  of  Company   Secretaries  (IFCS).

Mr. Keyoor  Bakshi  has been Elected as the President of                                   International Federation of Company Secretaries (IFCS)   for the                       Year 2009-2010. The Elections were held at the sixth assembly meeting of the International Federation of Company Secretaries in Tanzania.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is the Founder Member of International Federation of Company Secretaries (IFCS).

The International Federation of Company Secretaries (IFCS) was constituted In 2004 with the objectives of Development and Promotion of the Profession of Company Secretaries, Best Company Secretarial Practices and Professional Administration at a Global Level.

The other founder Institutes of IFCS are:

• The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Managers of Bangladesh
• The Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya
• The Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria
• The Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan
• Nepal Institute of Company Secretaries is the Observer Member of IFCS

Mr. Keyoor  Bakshi is the Immediate Past President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a practising Company Secretary at Mumbai  He is also the Central Council Member of the Institute.
