I fully support you. If ICAI permit direct admission then it will be big unjustice to those who have passed CPT.

I must say if ICAI going to change then they should also change the article starting time. They should allow article to be started before IPCC exam so that  a student can save atleast 1 year. Or a student can do start article just after registration with ICAI, be it CPT or IPCC. Same as it was couple of years ago.

ICAI has made mockery of itself by its action or reaction.frown

Direct admission should be permitted by the institute only for those candidate who has completed there graduation in commerce field only, otherwise CPT should be mandatory...

Agree with u Amit Nishania.

I want to say wt about CPT it is Common Proficiency . It doesnt mean that one have a proficiency after completing his/her graduation. If one has proficiency so why IIM conducting CAT why it can,t provide direct admission to Graduates.

Agreed with Mishra......

i feel the direct entry into ipcc should not be allowed beacause in a lot of cases the quality of the b com colleges in india are not upto the mark and the substance that is required for ipcc i.e. the basic knowledgge required to enter ipcc isnt sufficient when we go through bcom.on top of that just a matter of 3 months of study so it should nt really be a problem to the people.

on allowing students to join articleship before ipcc,i would like to disagree to the thought...i feel, again without the sufficient knowledge and skill we should not be let to do something just so that we can save time...once we are done with ipcc we acquire a lot of in depth and working knowledge about various things and hence it is the perfect time to jump into the world of aricleship to see practically what we have studied..

ICAI wants money thats all. More students registering in ipcc = more fees icai is totally unprofessional

Yes........

B-Com (more than 10 subjects ) is a Three year course, no canditate eligible to IPCC unless he secures minimum 55%

CPT (4 subjects) is a 6 months course, any candidate is eligible if he secures minimum of 50%

Through CPT ICAI is getting lot of money. and already president notified it will be soon exempted. But when no one knows. My opinion is CPT should be compulsary for Non commerce background students. because commerce students ( Either 10 + 2 or Graduate ) both faces the subjects of ECONOMICS-ACCOUNTS-little bit Q.T.  LAW is not included in 10 + 2 but in Graduate all four CPT modules exists. so its waste of time for skilled graduates. there are many students who completed graduate but not able to clear CPT. that's the speciallity of CPT. Examiners are preparing paper  in a such way : that student must technically smart. if one can not clear CPT. what about IPCC and uska BAAP FINAL.???

Bi.P.C-M.P.C. ( they dont know what is debit and credit accounts ) how can they handle IPCC subjects. eventhough Q.T can be managed by M.P.C. ( partly )

so my conclusion is CPT must be exempted compulsary for commerce background. and it must be compulsary for non commerce students.

and i totally against to neeraj Question.  Bhai log marra rahey hey iss notifiction approval kay liye. aur aap uska saath dheray. kya bhai  aisa hey toh kaisa.. by the way aap kya karray ?

ICAI should permit direct admission to IPCC but articleship should be allowed only after completion of group-1 of IPCC. because quality of graduates produced by different university in india are not equal.ICAI council has approved amendment in CA amendment act 1988 allowing graduates to take direct admission in IPCC and articleship. Central government approval is required to give effect to this amendment. proposal has been already sent to CH for their approval.  I dont know whether it has been approved or not by CG.
