I wish everybody will  clear pe2 exam...

I too is PEII GrI passed.I think I"ll have to apopear & pass in Costing,Income tax & Information technology papers to clear IPCC.Having said that I'm a bit confused as to status of those who belongs to the old Inter course & has completed aricles training.Kindly let me know about that matter.

I also have same problem as you suffer. Its best if we cleared PE2, but if not than our exam will be of  "UNIT SCHEME", It means, subjectwise exam have to be attempted after conversion in IPCC.

 yes u are correct .... u need to clear costing , Tax and IT&SM to clear IPCC,

Your articalship is VALID and u need not do it again , As soon as u clear these above 3 subjects u can write FInal in the next attempt :)

Now, what option u have may be the question for u,

U can write

Unit -  4 AND Unit - 6

(Note: If u r writing Unit - 6 u have to get 50 marks in IT&FM as it is the only subject in the unit)

(Refer Page 5 & 6 in the pdf attached)

OR

U can write Unit 8

where is its just like PE2 gr2 u can write all the 3 subjects.

Same pass criteria 40% in each subject and 50% in total

 CAn u give full details of marks u got in GR1 of PE2 ... i can tell u

suppose i got 45+50+56=151...(pe2)...n 2nd grp not clear....

nw in ipcc there is 4 subject in 1st grp...so wat will required marks for Cost and tax....???

 it will only 50+50=100??? or they will calculate like dis...

200(4*50 atleast)-(45+50)=105/2=53approx.????

Its 50+50=100 ( cost + tax ), or 45 + 55 = 100 , or 40 + 60 = 100 ... what ever combination

u need to get min 100 . i.e Cost+tax=100 marks

Remember only the unit NOT the group !

u NEED NOT WRITE "ACCOUNTS-1" "ACCOUNTS 2" "AUDITING" "LAW" IN UR LIFE TIME AGAIN ....

Now are u clear ?

we need not write Costing , tax , info teck& SM in our life time .... again

Please think about the UNITS ONLY NOT THE GROUP ... FORGET THE GROUPS Plz
