Surendra Sir on thse two days we express our feelings we celebrate this. Hum roj Maa Durga ki Puja karte hai par Navratra mai Jyada gungan karte hai par iska ye matlab nahi ki baki din hum "Maa Durga" ko yaad nahi karte.

I FEEL PROUD TO BE INDIAN--365 1/2 DAYS IN A YEAR.

 Dear Sanjay,

I agree with your views but very few people are there who  respect  motherland inherently.

See all the incidents described above. Is there any sign of respect for motherland and its people ?

We live in majority and when majority is not working well; all is not well.

I respect your feelings to be proud as Indian. I also feel like that. I worship our heritage, culture and personal attachment of  relationship which is found only in India.

Whenever I read about Madam Kama, Shyamji Krishna Verma, Madanlal Dhingara, Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri etc. then I find that despite economic developments in India; common man lives in  very miserable conditions.

Hence I just put another side of the view.

Thank God that still we remember at least for two days the sacrifice made by "many," majority of whom were neither  identified then nor today; except few ones."

Surendra Sir,

I also respect your feeling, but no country is perfect, nobody is perfect, not all peoples are same, they never were they will never be. It is upto individuals to realise their responsibilities and duties towards their country and countrymen, feel proud of achievement of our country and our fellow countrymen. There is endless list of peoples we can be proud of in all fileds of life and thats what we should savour. We are blessed to be born in the country of-----

Mahatma Gandhi

Sardar Bhagar Singh

Chandrasekhar Azad

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

Lal Bahadur Shastri

Rabindranath Tagore

Satyajit Ray

Lata Mangeshkar

Sachin Tendulkar

Mother Teresa

The list will never end...........I just named a few.

Regards.

We live in a nation

where pizza reaches home faster than ambulance & police,

where you get car loan @ 5% and education loan @ 12%,

where rice is Rs 40/- per kg but sim card is free,

where a millionaire can buy a cricket team instead of donating the money to any charity,

where the foot wears that we wear are sold in AC showrooms, and vegetables that we eat are sold at footpath,

where everybody wants to be famous but nobody wants to follow the path to be famous,

where we make lemon juices with artificial flavours and dish wash liquids with real lemon,

where people standing at tea stall reading an article about child labour from a newspaper and say,"yaar bachhonse kaam karvane wale ko to phansi par chadha dena chahiye" and then they shout "Oye chhottu chaii laao."

Incredible India ! Surprisingly this is the recent changes & not older than 15 years. GOD knows what will happen after 15 years!!!

I LOVE MY INDIA!
"Where the mind is without fear
and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been
broken up into fragments by
narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from
the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches
its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason
has not lost its way into the dreary
desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is lead forward by thee
into ever-widening thought and action-
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father,
let my country awake."

"Geetanjali"
