Huf stock trading and portfolio. advisory
I have opened a stock trading and demat account in my HUF name
(A) is it ok to invest ( medium to long term) in my individual account but daytrade(intraday and short term ie.bout a week) in my HUF account
(B) will HUF income from such trading then be considered as business income ( I have no income in HUF currently)
(C)will it be ok if I stop trading and start long term investments in HUF in later years? Will such income still be considered as business income
(D)can I start a portfolio advisory business in my HUF, where it will be receiving fees from clients for advice given by me.

If you do intraday trading in your HUF it will be business. However in the future if you want to puruse long term trading you will have to keep 2 seperate books of accounts and can do long term trading which will be covered under capital gains.
