Huf and Hra
I live with my father and pay him rent. He shows it as rental income. Can I instead pay to his HUF bank account and can he show it as his HUF income?

Only the owner can receive rent....... If father is owner of the property, HUF cannot receive rent!!
Father is the owner and has a HUF, can't he show it as his HUF income?
Father as Karta and as individual have two different PANs !!! Are they same 'person' under IT act?
Alright.So you mean to say HUF karta can never have rental income.
HUF can have rental income provided HUF owns any property. Karta cannot divert his taxable income into HUF file.
