HRA exemption from Brother

hi, can i claim HRA exemption from Rent paid to the brother? I am staying in a Flat owned by my brother. And Is it mandatory to have Rent agreement between brothers?

yes,rennt agreement should be obtained for claiming HRA & make sure that ur relative is showing rental income in his return.
