I have a doubt regarding HRA.
For. e.g, i work in chennai and stay with my relatives without paying any rent.My family stays in Andhra and pays rent there. I make the rent payment for them.Can i claim HRA for rent paid for stay of my family (place other than the place of work).

I think thats not possible. U can claim exemption in respect of rent paid for the property occupied by you. https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/rules/income-tax%20rules/103120000000006868.htm
