Hi,
Previously, we could verify the Form16A we receive by entering the details in
https://onlineservices.tin.egov-nsdl.com/TIN/JSP/form16A/LinkToUnauthorizedView.jsp.
However, after movement to TRACES, the certificate number has increased from 6 characters to 7 characters. The old TIN site cannot accept more than a 6 digit Cert number.
So how do we (as a tax payer) download and verify the Form 16A online.
The 26AS in TRACES does not contain the Form16 or 16A.
