How to utilize Cenvat Credit

Dear Mr Anand as per Cenvat Credit Rules, You can take the cenvat credit against the duty u have paid. For Eg if u have paid the BED then u can claim the cenvat against charging BED only and you cannot Set off BED against AED u will charge.

Could you please explain in detail i am a bit confused i am not sure but i guess we can take cenvat credit of BED for payment of EC and SHEC if this holds true can we utilize this for Payment of NCCD also.
