How to do Self study ….

May b bcz I did selfstudy so it could b reason for my eagerness to write upon this article. A person may choose to selfstudy by his own wish, by financial prob or by forceful circumstances.

In any of d case u choose to selfstudy then plz accept it tht it was ur choice to do so …otherwise u can also leave CA or find another way.

So here come d common mistakes wht we usually do----

Negative thoughts – even of ours or it can b of anyother one …we use to giv them a high preference.. like in my own case my frns said me tht its tough yr ..too tough . N I really heard them n didn’t even try to open my book on tht topic . it took too long to overcome my own fear at tht moment. This fear removed when I giv myself a try n look over d scanner.it was nt actually so tough as I thought.

So my piece of advice wil b don’t believe until u see urself

Good books – this is something really very imp. I wasted a lot of time upon it.if u choose right kinda book ur half of problem is solved automatically.for example I did study material , ashish kalra then R.P.Rustogi bt still I couldn’t understand anything …may b bcz m jst an average student. Finally I switched to Rajesh makker’s notes for Fm they were awesome n gave me confidence to attempt the exam properly.

It would b gud to check out the whole list of books suggested by frns n all in market n decide acd. to ur own skills.

Imp topic---- when u do self study its kind of tendency to see huge course n seeing all this ..all of d courage to self study gone . u don’t even realise whts going wrong ..y r nt u upto mark. So first refer those topic which r fixed in exams n fetch u gud base of marks for passing. This wil ultimately boost ur confidence to do self study.

Use scanner to find out the imp topics.

Advice--- self study doesn’t mean tht u cant take suggestion or advice frm any1. Wherever u feel tht u unable to do things in right manner ..take advice frm elders or find other study material for reference. For example I hav taken munish bhandari book in law bt in ethics n communication I had referred notes which I downloaded frm ca club.

Inspiration --- whenever do self study it’s a kinda of negative feeling also get started bt in my case my bhaiya is my source of inspiration who had done selfstudy n also passed in his first attempt. So whenever I feel myself low..i jst thought of my bro , like if he can do it then y nt I ? bcz tough to uske liye bhi tha na when he did it successfully I can also do it .

Discipline --- tht become too complicated . bcz when I study I hav a habit of studying 3 days n then 4 days holidays.it was tough to cover . I would suggest to make a diary of every day …n note ur activity . it wil help u define ur study plan accordingly.

Difficult topic --- this is another thing to stop study pace. Spl it become very complicated to handle . bcz when we hav to face difficult topic we use to curse ourself like wht to do ?? well plz don’t b so upset bcz it’s the real test of ur selfstudy.

So to tackle this use ur own abilities ..

Ego---- plz take this point at side …if u don’t knw anything feel free to take help frm elders. I was too stubborn to admit it.bcz in my time when I face prob 15 times then 1 time I use my bro help. So this is the really bad point bcz I wasted too much time on this stupidity.

Test --- this is the most imp thing in which we get week when we do self study . we do work hard bt forget to assess ourself . this is the main lacking in self study.i remember my X class line when I started selfstudy---

TEST urself bcz it defines where u r ,,, n make a way 2 to go where u wanna b .

Fear--- it’s a normal feeling tht when ur test r not gud, u tend to b low. So don’t fear at tht time bcz now u can recover bt in exam time u cant .so convice urself u hav nothing to lose now…only u wil get benefitted if u find ur mistakes now.

To conclude everything I can say jst it ---

If ur heart is wishing u wil find 100 ways for doing it otherwise u wil find 101 reasons to avoid it.
