send mail to income tax to reset your passward

i think you have to mail to income tax office or write letter to income tax departmetn with proper attchment of such PAN proof...

You can also contact directly to Income Tax Office on following number for more information,

All you need to do is send an e-mail to "efiling.administrator @ incometaxindia.gov.in" requesting them to regenerate the password. Specify the PAN and Name of the assessee in the e-mail.

Then the E-filing Administrator will send you an e-mail asking you few verification questions like: Name, Father's Name, DOB, Address,etc. regarding the assessee.

Mail the required information to E-filing adminstrator. Your Password will be regenerated.

SEND THE ALL INFORMATION ABOUT COMPANY

 PAN NO. COMPANY NAME DOI, ADDRESS, DIRECTORS NAME ETC. AT

efiling.administrator @ incometaxindia.gov.in

YOU WILL RECEIVED A NEW PASS WORD WITHIN 24 HOURS.

I have forgotten my password for filing my IT returns. I have gone through for answering both the questions as I do not remember the  same since I am filing my returns for the last 40 years or so. I have changed the residences somany times and finally I settled in Hyderabad. I got the PAN No. from Delhi about 40 years ago .During  past 7 years i am filing the returns without having any problem.  Now my CA asks the password for my PAN No (AAAPT0015A) to get it filed. I shall be highly obliged if you can help me in providing me the password to get my returns filed.

Send a mail to validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in with all the pan details like
1) PAN
2) Name
3) Date of Birth/Date of Incorporation
4) Father’s Name
5) Address (As per PAN registration)
 

you will get a resetted password to the same mail id from which you are sending the mail.

Dear Sir,

My one client wants to efiling but he doesn't know password and he didn't have any acknowledgement for last return it is one consultant and email ID also is of olf consultant then how can he get income tax password because according to income tax department we can get password only on registered email and that is filled by other consultant who is not co-operating with my client

So, Please guide me how to get income tax password or reset password
