I would like to share one more technique. Though its not a new one but it really helps in attaining not only concentration but makes you more relaxed too !!!
Take deep breath as deep as you and then slowly slowly release it. And while you do this try to visualize that your accepting positive energy of cosmos and while releasing same you have outhaled all your impurities. Initially try to do 5 to 8 times for few days and then slowly increase upto what you can manage (20 to 30 times can be achieved within a month and is good to sustain). Ensure to have a silent surrounding when you do this.
