How to go about completing my Finals

Final 1996 views 23 replies

Hi Friends...I have been a student of the CA course. I cleared my Intermediate CA exams in 1998. Gave a couple of attempts at completing my Finals, but did not succeed. I finally gave up in 2002. The thought has again come up to me to complete my Final CA. Will I be able to clear this exam, or should I put if off completely?

I am totally confused and not sure which direction to take. Age is catching up, since I am presently 38 years. I wonder whether I will be abe to complete the course at all. Can anyone give me valuable suggestions on how to go about completing my Finals? I would appreciate your valuable inputs. Time is short, so would appreciate your inputs, on the easiest and guaranteed method of passing this exam.

nothing is impossible. in my view prepare one group with full concentration , and start your studies now. you will definitely succeed

if you have any problem you can ask here, it will be definitely solved

Yes nothing is impossible.

But the fact also need to keep in mind that u have to devote time for study if it is possible for u then go  ahead u will definately do it.

Guranteed method of passing exam is Regular study on systematic basis and Regular revison then  success is yours.

WE ALL ARE WITH YOU .YOU CAN ASK ANYTHING FROM ME ABOUT CA FINAL STUDYING PATTERN FOR ALL SUBJECTS .

Thanks for your response...but can you give me a detailed roadmap on how to go about clearing this exam? I am a student of the old syllabus (2002). I believe alot of changes and amendments have taken place since 2002 till date. I need a very focussed and timebound plan to go about achieving this hurdle. Further can anyone elaborate what are the steps I need to take starting .....1. The syllabus- do I need to give the Finals under the old/new syllabus? 2. what to study- I read someone on this Forum stating that there is no need to refer to the CA study Modules, but just to some books as listed by him. 3. If someone could give me a very detailed way of going about this exam, I'd very much appreciate your time and efforts. Thanks

yes u can resume u r studies, just like me

just follow study material and practice manuals first then refer any one good reference book, if u have time .

Hi!

Firstly, since you have already attempted CA Finals previously and then gave up temp. ,you have gained knowledge and experience over those years(when u gave up CA) and you are much mature now, than you were then, so, that should help you to proceed with confidence.

Secondly, a detailed study plan, i guess only u can make for ur self depending on ur official and personal responsibilities.

Then, as mentioned above by a fellow ca club india member, the modules are good...or you could also refer to some popular authors like bangar and V.Gupta for taxes...bhandari for law..etc..(probably the same authors u refered to previously) and for the practical subjects, im attending classes, so...i dont know, ask again on this forum....

first of all take a bow 4m me man!! i sincery appreciate ur thought of giving ca final at age of 38.i must say that dont let this desire to die down.....just believe in urself." i m not telling u it is going to be easy - i m telling u its going to be worth it.

it vrequires strong determination

dont let out ur opportunity have confidence in urself the sucess will be in ur hand in ca exam patience and self motivation is the key to sucess. Just collect  the updated books and keep studing regularly.......

if u face any problem than caclub india is here it will help u alot........

Hi sir,

First of all i appreciate ur thought.

The things to be kept in your mind while starting back your preperation :

1. Forget your age while studying

2. Be self confident

3. Its better to prefer study materials and practise manuals

4. But it will take some time for u to adjust to sit and study , but be patient.

5. Think positive, if u get doubt just post here and get clarified

6. Regular study should be there ( Its easy to tell but very difficult to do) . So make that difficult thing easy

7. Prepare for conceptual knowledge, then once u r thorough with the concepts, then u can prepare in exam point of view.

These are things i just want to tell u,

If in any other way u need help, just mail me @ "supriyasindhiri54 @ gmail.com"
This is upto my level of thinking

All the best

Hi,

Congrats for ur decision to continue CA and all the best for ur exams.

Definitely you have to follow new syllabus .Put ur 200% effort  and  win your game.

ALL THE BEST

I really appreciate the efforts u r taking for the C.A. examination. But besides ur effort from my point of view u r lagging behind ur attitude. u must never give up until u reach the destination. let me give u ex. Thomas Edison Failed 9999 times. he never gave up. Henry ford was broke at age of 40. If they can do it. then why can't you?. learn from ur past experience .set a goal & go for it.  BEST LUCK FOR UR FUTURE ENDEAVOUR.
