dude study daily and concept study is a must ,3-4hrs is enough if u r starting nw , studying regularly, is more important as to remember all the section and the law its neccessary to brush them up in few days time again and again .

Divide ur time according 2 ur subjcts nd as per my views atleast 3 revisions r must. if u hv time den try 2 make short notes 4 quick revision. Dont leave ny sbject untouched 4 more than 3 months. start ur studies wid planing, u'll get sucess. All d vry Best.

i dont think anyone can study like this

if you study continuously 20 hours you wont be able to give your efficiency there

you will be just wasting your hours

what i think 12 to 14 hours is sufficient

Well study to clear your concepts first. As it is the last stage of our course, after becoming a CA  we have no other escape to tell anyone that "I dont know...". Well my point is... Even though you some how clear your CA final exam your learning process doesnot end. You still try to learn more and more things... fair enough. But think if you are a chartered accountant and you have a doubt such as "why are the cash flows are discounted?", then it would be a dangerous situation for you, beacause being a chartered accountant one would expect to have conceptual clarity irrespective whether you are a fresher or not. You cannot say like a doctor " I am not an expert of ear or nose etc."

As said by Aamir Khan in 3Idiots, "CHASE EXCELLENCE, NOT SUCCESS".

Well... from examination perspective I would advice to study regularly, and thrive to achive maximum conceptual clarity. Try maximum problems and case studies on your own first, so that you will come to know how far you can apply your concepts. Try to solve maximum papers so that you get habituated to "UNCOMMON TERRITORY".

Apart from these also try to read business newspapers, CA journal, newsletter... This would develope your ATTITUDE towards your proffesion and with this attitude you can come out with flying colours.
