I filled the wrong Assessment Year in Challan 280, and have filled the ITR and submitted it.
To change the Assessment Year, how do I contact the Assessment Officer? Will I have to go the IT Dept and then get it changed, if so, is there any affidavit required? Please help it is urgent, I only have 4 days left...

Thanks for the reply. I had filled the challan online. I tried contacting the bank, they say they cannot do it. I went to the Income Tax Department and have submitted a request for change of assessment year with a copy of the counterfoil. Is there anythings else that I need to do?
