How to clear final without any coaching

I am from Kolkata and by seeing DG sir’s summary module I ordered his books but now many are telling that his books are not good for self study,then please refer best sources for getting IDT knowledge and exam prepation. Also  clarify whether can I rely on DG sir's book for conceptual clarity and exam success
