How to change itr1

you can revise the return

I also made some mistake while filing ITR 1. Now i have the ITR V generated from the website after filing. If i am revising my return do i get one more ITR V? which one should i sent to the Income Tax dept address?

Or is it like I should sent the First ITR V to income tax dept and revise my return and again send the second ITR V after revised return filing?

Please help!

yes.. you will get 1 more ITR-V and you have to send both the ITR-Vs to the Income Tax Deptt, Banglore.

which software u are using?

If you are using the software available on income tax site then whili filling the ITR form it will ask you whether it is an original return or revised return.

I am using one excel for generating xml which I later upload on portal.

Please let me know from where I can found that software or how can I use the same excel to revise the ITR.

in the sheet of personal information, check there is an option which says original or revise.
