Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the tax implications for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) receiving honorariums from sources outside India. While income accruing or arising outside India is generally not taxable in India for NRIs, the question arises whether such income still needs to be reported in the Indian income tax return. The core issue is understanding the reporting obligations for foreign-sourced honorariums.

In case of non-resident all income which accrues or arises outside India would not be taxable in India.
But i have to report it?
