can any body suggest me the areas of investment banking where CA can be taken. which are the leading companies who are taking CAs and what are their basic profiles.

areas of investment banking?Very Very VAST,All banking & finance company sooner or later need services of C.A + OTHER PROFESSIONAL as Indian Economy Integrated with world,If I am not exaggerating there will be dire shortage of even Commerce Graduates withing coming 5 yrs.

Hi One of the area in investment banking would be related to merger & acquisitions. Few of the companies are Gold Man Sachs,JP Morgan chase.

Investment Banking is one of the areas which is growing with the boom in securities market e.g. for Private Placement, IPO's QIB - here C.A.'s do play role for vaualtions, understanding Financials. Basic profile - a good education background with a professional degree.
