Help me to find correct ito ward to file return

My Brother is doing Brohitham (Vaideegam) as his profession..

He wishes to e- file return and I do prepared the same.

The problem is his residential address belongs to tirunelveli Dist., but his PAN has been alloted to Tutuicorn jurisdriction..

My doubt here is his residential address belongs to pin code of 627416 then how can the PAN be alloted to Tuticorin jurisdriction..

Also now he is temperorily settled in chennai and wises to settle for future too. So can he e-file return based on Chennai address..

Can anyone help me with a good response clarifying where he has to file return n let me know the AO code, ward, etc to fill the ITR..

Firstly you shoould update your address in PAN in Form 49A. After updating you should request to old jurisdiction ITO to transfer his case / PAN to new jursdiction Assessing Officer. Further you may file your income tax return under new jursdiction with mentioned new AO Code and address in income tax return

Thanks for your reply Mr.Naveesh Dhar. but he is filing return for the first time. moreover his address is correct in PAN database.. but i have a doubt y the jurisdriction alloted was to tuticorin..
