help! help! DT CA Final

I have joined SubodhShah's class at Pune for DT for CA Final Nov 2010 attempt presuming that the coaching would be as good as he imparted for PCC, which incidently I cleared in first attempt securing 58% in DT. But to my dismay I have found that the coaching for final is below par with lot many holidays and no practicals. Anyone can suggest which will be the best book for self study for DT?

Dr. Girish Ahuja - It is explained in lucid language, concepts are explained well, covers past questions and given in exam oriented format.

any one among girish ahuja or vinod gupta. but strategy for DT is to read it as a daily dose due to its vastness. try to put more revision and u will be able to memorizing it automatically..............

I think you may prefer to go with Vinod Gupta OR Vinod Singhaniya.

The better is the way of reading and memorising the provisions. I think up to my knowledge it is better not to mug up all the sections & Case laws but just read out them. You will be surprised by knowing that there are no special award in marks for sections and case laws. The main thing in exam is practical approach of provision. If you can write in exam in your own english without using of any technical or law language still you will be awarded marks fully in exam.

I had exprienced the same and won Gold Medal in Direct Tax

you People Makng his Job More Difficult don't Confuse Him "no Matter what Book YOu Refer But just make sure you do ICAi Selected case law & Supplementary Book( Which will be Issued by ICAI as per Relevant Attempt.it included amendments..which are of Most Important)..sure Succes will be Your....
