Some of the extracts from the above post is :
In the course of a short life of thirty-nine years (1863-1902), of which only ten were devoted to public activities-and those, too, inthe midst of acute physical suffering-he left for posterity his four classics: Jnana-Yoga, Bhakti-Yoga, Karma-Yoga, and Raja-Yoga, all of which are outstanding treatises on Hindu philosophy.
.
Gyan Yoga : When a person tries to find out the TRUTH by reading, writing and speaking on various aspects of knowledge.
.
Bhakti Yoga : When a devotee forgets himself and treats himself as a part of God.
.
Karma Yoga : To do what is expected from him according to his skills, culture and religion.
.
Raj Yoga : When a person is engaged in TAPASYA to find out real gem in his soul.
.
Unfortunately; very rare discussion is made on all these aspects of Hindu Culture. Every so-called Saint is more interested to establish his own PANTH.
.
Some yogis who don't have real knowledge of the above; do HATH-YOGA.
.
Some Rishis did TAPASYA without having control on their anger.
.
All this should be avoided while dealing with SOUL (SELF) and GOD ( nothing should be asked from God in lieu of his devotion).
