We have Pvt Ltd company having registered in West Bengal. we received GTA Bill from registered transporter. they charge GST @ 12% in their bill.
now question is who is paid GST Transporter or Our company?
My 2nd questions is should a Registered transporter charge GST in their selling Invoice?
Regarding ITC who is claimed transporter or my company? pl explain details

As per Notification No. 20/2017 – Central Tax (Rate) dated 22nd August, 2017, GTA are now allowed to take Input Tax Credit subject to condition that they should charge GST @ 12% on forward charge. The recipient is also allowed to take credit subject to his eligibility.
Hence If GTA has charged GST 12℅ to Pvt. Ltd. Company , the company can claim ITC on same

forward charge means where the supplier of goods/service is liable pay tax
